The Pattonville Board of Education on Feb. 13 approved the selection of Dr. Tamika Dukes as the principal at Holman Middle School, effective July 1.
Dukes currently serves as assistant principal of West Middle School in the Parkway School District. Prior to that, she was an art teacher at Remington Traditional School. Dukes started her educational career in the Lee Summit School District in Kansas City, Missouri, where she opened a new elementary school as the new art teacher. She then continued her career as a middle school teacher at East Middle School in the Hazelwood School District.
Dukes earned a bachelor’s degree in K-12 art education and a master’s degree in instructional technology from the University of Missouri-Columbia and her doctorate in educational leadership from Maryville University.

Seniors - On 2/22 during homeroom in the library, St Louis County Workforce Development will be presenting on their post-graduate program which provides paid training in a number of career fields. If you are a Senior and are interested, ask for a pass to this presentation during homeroom on 2/22 in the library. Any questions, see Dr. Fitzgerald

Congratulations to the girls wrestling team for winning conference and ending their season 18 - 2. Special shout out to Makayla Gordon for qualifying for state and placing third at districts!!! She will wrestling at the Mizzou area next Friday and Saturday.
On Dec. 12, the Pattonville Board of Education approved changing the name of Remington Traditional School to the Academy of Innovation at Remington beginning in the 2024-2025 school year. This alteration is a result of changes coming to the school’s learning model.
The 2023-2024 building-level Teacher of the Year (TOY) and Support Staff of the Year (SSOY) honorees were surprised by special presentations. These staff members were nominated by students, parents and co-workers and chosen as the honoree from their building by their fellow staff members. They are:

Families with children who plan to attend kindergarten during the 2024-2025 school year should enroll their child during kindergarten registration, set for March 1 through 5.
