Seniors--applications for the PHS Community Service Scholarship are due by this Thursday, April 4th. Submit applications to the CSO.

 

The National English Honor Society will hold its last meeting of the school year on April 4 during Contact Time in Room D101. Please see Ms. Raymond in D115 or Ms. Wills in D101 for a pass

 

Calling all Fashionistas! Green Team and Pete's closet will host the Sustainability Fashion Show on April 17th. If you would like to create or model upcycled clothing designs and vintage fashion, sign up now. Scan the QR code posted on our flyers for more details

 

 Are you interested in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech/Language Therapy Careers? Attend the Career Lunch on April 25. Sign-up required on SchooLinks under School Events or pick-up a flyer outside the College & Career Center.

 Juniors: Are you a 1st generation college student (meaning neither parent has a 4 yr college degree)? If you are, then apply for the 1st Generation College Academy Program and get a head start and expert help on your colleges & scholarships. Pick up an application outside the College & Career Center.

-Pattonville Alumni Association is in need of lots of volunteers for their Daddy Daughter Dance that will be hosted at Pattonville Heights on Sat. April 20, 4pm-9pm. Lots of help is needed to set up, during the dance and to clean up. There will be a need for help with some set up on Fri. April 19th.

 

-Parkwood Elementary School will be hosting a Showcase Night on Wed. April 10th, 4:45pm-6:30pm. 8-10 volunteers are needed to help out! Please stop by the CSO E200 to sign up for these opportunities

 

Maryland Heights Police Safety Town Applications are in! They are due by Friday, May 3rd. Stop by the CSO E200 or the SRO office to pick up an application!

Juniors, PHS will offer FREE ACT review classes to students preparing for the April 9th ACT exam.  ALL CLASSES ARE 6-8 PM.  You do not need to sign up, just show up! April 1st--English in Room B105, April 2nd--Math in Room H205, and April 3rd--Math in Room H205

Petitions for class officers are available: March 29th, Petitions are due: April 26th to Ms. Markowski by 2:18 pm  Candidates will be Posted: April 29th. Candidate Voting will take place on : May 1st - May 3rd Officers will be Announced: May 7th 

Community Service Opportunities: 

 

-Willow Brook PTO needs 10 volunteers to help with their Family Night Fri. April 12th, 5pm-8pm

Duties can include helping with set up, running the Bingo prize table, helping with the flow traffic, photo booth, etc.

Eclipse glasses with picture of 2017 eclipse in backgroundOn April 8, the St. Louis area will be in the path of a solar eclipse. While the Pattonville attendance area will not be in the path of complete totality, our schools will experience a partial eclipse, with St. Louis reaching 98% totality around 2 p.m. To prepare for this rare opportunity, Pattonville is making preparations so that students can experience this event in a safe and educational manner.
