Three school district residents were sworn into office to serve on the Pattonville Board of Education. During the April 2 election, incumbent Jeanne Schottmueller and Jan Schweiss were elected to serve a three-year term and Rená Simmons was elected to fill a two-year position to complete the term of Dr. Amanda Lienau, who resigned from the board in October 2023. All three were sworn into office on April 9 by board president Mary Kay Campbell.
The Pattonville School District earned the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Total Fleet Excellence Award. The transportation department team obtained a first-round approval score of 96% during the annual inspection of its buses and the district’s score was 100% at the conclusion of the inspection. The two buses that had minor issues, which were not mechanical, were repaired quickly, reinspected and approved.
Prom Tickets will be on sale April 15th-April 26th at $70 per person. Tickets will be sold in the commons during all lunches. Students must have 90% attendance in order to attend. If they have any issues with attendance they must speak to their assigned principal. Guest Permissions forms will be available in the activities office from April 8th - April 24th.
Jostens will be here April 19th during all lunches to deliver graduation announcements
The 15th annual Taste of Pattonville is this Thursday in the cafeteria and commons from 5:30 - 8:00 pm! Bring your friends and family to enjoy food from 25 local restaurants! Tickets are on sale during lunch shifts or you can purchase them at the door. We hope to see you there!
Community Service Opportunities:
-Pattonville Alumni Association is in need of lots of volunteers for their Daddy Daughter Dance that will be hosted at Pattonville Heights on Sat. April 20, 4pm-9pm. Lots of help is needed to set up, during the dance and to clean up. There will be a need for help with some set up on Fri. April 19th.
-Parkwood Elementary School will be hosting a Showcase Night on Wed. April 10th, 4:45pm-6:30pm. 8-10 volunteers are needed to help out! Please stop by the CSO E200 to sign up for these opportunities
Maryland Heights Police Safety Town Applications are in! They are due by Friday, May 3rd. Stop by the CSO E200 or the SRO office to pick up an application!

This Friday, April 12, students are invited to participate in the "National Day of Silence." On this day, LGBTQ+ students and allies all around the U.S. will protest the harmful effects of harassment and discrimination against LGBTQ+ people. If you want to join the effort, there will be a table at all lunches on Thursday and Friday with more information. In addition, the Pattonville GSA invites you to a "Breaking the Silence" party after school Friday in Room G 206
