A group of Pattonville High School computer science students won the 2024 World Wide Technology STEM Student Forum claiming a $10,000 first place prize for developing an idea for a program that will assist students in selecting classes that are beneficial during their high school years and college. The program, Anchor, is essentially an AI academic advisor.
Prom Tickets will be on sale April 15th-April 26th at $70 per person. Tickets will be sold in the commons during all lunches. Students must have 90% attendance in order to attend. If they have any issues with attendance they must speak to their assigned principal. Guest Permissions forms will be available in the activities office from now until April 24th.

Today students are invited to participate in the "National Day of Silence." On this day, LGBTQ+ students and allies all around the U.S. will protest the harmful effects of harassment and discrimination against LGBTQ+ people. If you want to join the effort, there will be a table at all lunches today with more information. In addition, the Pattonville GSA invites you to a "Breaking the Silence" party after school today in Room G206

On April 9, the Pattonville Board of Education welcomed a Pattonville High School student to serve as a non-voting member on the board. The student representative will serve in an advisory capacity to represent the interests of students in the district. Junior Rylie Faasen was selected as the district’s first student representative. She joined newly elected board members Jeanne Schottmueller, Jan Schweiss and Rená Simmons during the board’s regular meeting in April.
On April 8, students and staff in Pattonville waited outside with anticipation of the coming solar eclipse. Around 2 p.m., they experienced 98% totality, with the moon nearly blocking out the sun creating a dusk-like environment. Leading up to the big event, students watched a video on eye safety for viewing the eclipse, participated in a variety of eclipse-related lessons and then witnessed it in person.

The 15th annual Taste of Pattonville is today in the cafeteria and commons from 5:30 - 8:00 pm! Bring your friends and family to enjoy food from 25 local restaurants! Tickets are on sale during lunch shifts or you can purchase them at the door. We hope to see you there!
